Somehow, the whole month of May--and almost June--have escaped without a blog post!
In attempts to catch up, I'll try to keep it simple...(UPDATE: LOTS of pictures, beware)
MAY HAPPENINGS
The lovely Jaci so kindly volunteered her talents and took some wonderful pictures of Abram and me while Ben was out of town at Yale for a conference (this was actually in April). Poor Abram wanted to take a dip in the lake the whole time but I wouldn't let him, haha. Here's a few...(thanks again, Jaci!)...
Disclaimer: The pictures are set up weird but I'm not taking the time to fix it.

BEN GRADUATED!
He now has a Master's Degree in Health Administration from the University of Minnesota.
Ben's parents were able to come out and celebrate with us (and be patient while we finished packing/cleaning/moving...)
We're so proud of him!
The graduation luncheon was up in the football stadium; they had a class picture on the scoreboard
Abram and Grandma
Proud of all of his hard work!
Right as Ben started his speech as MHA Class President. He did a great job.
So sweet!

Mr. Abram had a blowout! (Apparently didn't want to miss out on being in the spotlight.)
Runnin' free!!
Happy graduate!
Lovin' the graduate and the tassle!
WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF FREE LIBRARY PASSES TO THE MINNESOTA ZOO
(It was amazing and Abram loved it!)

CELEBRATED MOTHER'S DAY
(And got horrible pictures at bedtime, haha)
WE MOVED!
(Although, now that we've been in CA for a week, I feel like it's just now hitting me)
Abram loved sliding down the boxes with daddy...and "helping" mommy pack

AND...WE BOUGHT A CAR!
(We officially bought it in June)
Abram, Karen, and I were able to fly to UT (although not on the same flight, but Abram and I had a free ticket, so I'm not complaining!), and Ben and his dad drove our little Civic from MN to UT...they were only about 40 minutes out of Minneapolis when the muffler fell completely off. A few hours and few hundred dollars later, they continued on their way and thankfully made it safe to UT.
The little car has been a blessing for us, but after having spent a LOT of money on repairs the last couple years, and after the guy at Greenwood's Auto Shop in UT told us the gasket was blown and it was a 100% miracle that Ben and Alan made it from MN to UT, we decided it was time to buy a new car.
So after spending lots of time car shopping in UT, we found a great deal on a 2007 Toyota Yaris Sport. Only 44,000 miles and in mint condition. We feel so blessed to have found a reliable car! It also had a CA title already, which saved us some money...it was meant to be! I haven't taken a picture of ours, but here's what it looks like:
We feel so blessed!
